Clear Lines Festival celebrates the role of creativity and the arts in fostering community and recovery from sexual violence. In 2015, it was the UK’s first ever festival dedicated to addressing sexual assault and consent through the arts and discussion. We are thrilled to host the first Clear Lines event outside of London.

Take part in two exclusive creative writing workshops addressing lived experiences of sexual trauma. Survivors and award-winning authors Clare Shaw (poetry) and Winnie M Li (memoir/fiction) will lead these safe spaces, using language to explore difficult and personal stories.

Limited to individuals affected by sexual trauma. No prior writing experience necessary.

A collaboration with the Clear Lines Festival.

We are grateful to the Royal Society of Literature for supporting this project through the Literature Matters Awards.

If you’ve been to the workshop, your entry is free to the panel discussion later on the day.
